How do you change the oil pan in a 95 ford f150 302 4x4?

1. Drain engine oil

2. Loosen the fan shroud

3. Remove the motor mount nuts [18 mm socket]

4. Place a small length of 2X4 on top of a bottle jack.

5. Align jack under harmonic balancer

6. Raise engine until the intake plenum contacts the firewall

7. Remove the pan bolts

Hopefully this will give you enough room to slide out the pan.

It's fun, you take the engine out.

Sorry but Mr. T is going to find he has a clearance issue.

Between the huge crossmember, the double sump oil pan, the oil pump down in the front of the pan, and the bell housing, there isn't much room to get that baby out.

The pinch weld on the firewall hits the bellhousing and thereby limits how far you can lift the engine and transmission.

Mr T is right but you might need to jack up the frame to get more clearance.
Remove engine replace pan reinstall engine simple but takes hours. Dealer will do the job for about a grand
