My 89 Tercel is leaking a lot of oil. Should I buy a new oil pan gasket or buy that product that creates a new?

The gasket in a tube is good but it's better when used with a new gasket. use the silicon sealant type, the stuff you use around the bath in the big caulking gun is ok.My 89 Tercel is leaking a lot of oil. Should I buy a new oil pan gasket or buy that product that creates a new?

Buy a new gasket. Those sealants mess up the car.
