I have a Chevy 350 and I put on a chrome timing cover. I used the Fel Pro one piece oil pan gasket and have problems with it leaking in the front of the oil pan where the oil pan and the timing cover are. I believe it leaks between the pan and the gasket and not the gasket and the timing cover. Has anyone else have this problem and what can I do to fix it? I am also thinking that the timing cover might be the main problem. Could I put a silicone bead to help stop the leak?Fel Pro one piece oil pan gasket?

Not unusual when you replace a cast cover for a sheet metal cover. A bead of R-T-V should do the trick.
