Can a person still drive their car with oil pan gasket leaking?

yes you can but check the oil FREQUENTLY. also get it repaired soon because oil is not cheap and a $120 repair is only about 25 quarts of oil that you would be leaking on the groundCan a person still drive their car with oil pan gasket leaking?
Michael?

Who told you that your oil pan was /is leaking?

leak is a relative term. I know many a tech whom believe that normal

seepage is a leak and will tell there customer that they have a leak and need to repair it.

So you have to first establish is your engine leaking? Can a person still drive their car with oil pan gasket leaking?
yes, but for 10km to the nearest Canadian Tire for a tube of silicon gasket maker for $5. Then, drive home and do it yourself in 1.5 hours. I did save some time in draining less oil.
Sure, if you like living on the edge. It will make a mess everywhere it goes. Get it fixed soon, if only to stop having to pour in more oil all the time.
Not really a good idea - the converter runs hot enough to easily ignite any oil that accumulates on it - and an under car fire could ruin your whole day.
Sure, if you are ready to check on engine oil level frequently. Better fix it. You can get an oil pan from a junk yard for about $60 and replace it yourself if you'r handy enough.
yea but you better keep oil in it.
