How do i change oil pan gasket on a 1994 honda accord?

I'm not going to do it if I were you. Just pay somebody a $150. That is too messy. It's not worth it in savings that amount. Try to tighten the screw first if its leaking it might work and save you your time and money. How do i change oil pan gasket on a 1994 honda accord?
The first thing to do, is to drain the oil from the oil pan. For this, first, you must locate the oil drain plug. Then, put your oil drain pan, under the drain plug. Then, loosen the drain plug, with a cresent wrench. Let the oil drain into the pan, until all oil is drained out. Put this to a side. Now, locate the oil pan bolts. (You may want to have another pan, ready to catch any remaining oil, from the oil pan, when you have all the bolts that attach the oil pan to bottom of block removed). Now, carefully lower oil pan. Oil pan gasket should now be visable, on either the oil pan, itself, or, it may be stuck to the bottom of the engine block. Or, some may be on the oil pan, and, some may be on the bottom of the engine block. However way it is, carefully clean both mating surfaces, very well. Asclean as you can get them. The cleaner. the better. Then, put your new oil pan gasket, on the oil pan, being sure to match up all the holes. Then, put oil pan carefully back up onto the bottom of the block. Get two bolts started, up into the bottom of the block. Make these just finger tight. Then, install the remaining bolts, making them finger tight, as well. Now, you may want to check, and make sure, that, everything is going together correctly. Once you have done this, Take your ratchet and socket, and, tighten all bolts, tight. You may also want to obtain a torque wrench, to torque the bolts to the advisable tightness. Most auto parts stores should be ablle to give you the correct torque, for your vehicle. Once that is done, reinstall your drain plug. Now, you can put the oil back in, that you drained out, before,(if the oil is clean). Otherwise, use fresh oil. But, if it is clean, why not? You'll save some money, anyhow. After you have put the oil back in, pull out the dipstick, and, note the reading. If it is o.k. Then, start the engine, and, check for leakes. If you find any, just tighten the oil pan bolts, a little more. After you have ran the car for a while, check again, for leaks (Just to be safe). After engine has cooled down, a bit, pull out your dipstick, and, check oil level, on the stick. If o.k., then, you are good to go. If the level on the dipstick, looks low, add enough to bring it up to full. There, you are done. That is how you do it. (You may want to have some rags, handy, for oil that is spilled, on yourself, just in case). How do i change oil pan gasket on a 1994 honda accord?
