Does anyone know were the oil filter is located at on a 2000 nissan xterra and oil pan?

Remove that skid pan panel 5 10mm bolts 4 cly or V-6? 4cly the filter is difficult access from below on the passengers side behind the alternator. V.6 once the skid plate is off you should see everything you need.
