Where is the oil dip stick hole on the oil pan in a 78-79 chevy 350?

took it out to rebuild heads and cant find where to put it back! theres a 7inch long tube that is slightly curved that goes into the oil pan or whatever, that does not have threads that we took off (the dipstick went in it) wheres the hole at!?Where is the oil dip stick hole on the oil pan in a 78-79 chevy 350?
Driver's side, on side of block (no oil pan), the hole is just below where the head sits on block at. The hole will be down on block between the last two spark plugs on that side (#5 and #7 cyl)Where is the oil dip stick hole on the oil pan in a 78-79 chevy 350?
Some replacement blocks, targets, had places on both sides of block. Whatever side the hole is on, just put some black silicone sealer around base of it and carefully knock it in. If it has a little bracket on it than it bolts to either side of block, or exh manifold stud.
along the oil pan can be eiyther side...just presses in... i know it sounds crappy and is...ive had lots where you pull dipstick and tube comes with it...look under at pan see the bump along the lip
The hole is on the left side (passenger side) and slides in.... It bolts to the exhuast manifold
