anything else you need to do?Is it safe to take store bought mushrooms, fry them in a pan with oil for like 5 or 7 min?
You can rinse the mushrooms with running water. Lots of people think that the mushrooms will absorb a lot of water. If you rinse them quickly and cook them immediately, they will be fine. Use butter, not oil. Also, they should be fine raw.Is it safe to take store bought mushrooms, fry them in a pan with oil for like 5 or 7 min?
You can saute them for a few minutes over medium high heat in unsalted butter or olive oil. The high heat helps to keep their moisture in.

Do not add salt until after they have browned %26amp; you have removed them from the heat, or they will get soggy because the salt will release the moisture
Well, clean them with a damp paper towel first and make sure they are cooked fully. You probably need to add some salt and pepper for flavor. I like a little minced onion and seasoning salt with mine.
wow !!

are you paranoid about food. . ??

why fry them . .??

eat them raw after washing

toss them in with the other vegetables when cooking. . ??
They're delicious sauteed in BUTTER, not oil. They're also delicious sliced and used as a topping, raw, for a salad.
I think that is fine. All I know is I was told not to use them raw like in a salad %26amp; it was explained why but I can't remember so I think as long as they aren't raw you are fine.
I would just cut off the ends of the stems, wipe any dirt off with a paper towel. Add a little salt %26amp; pepper as they cook.
Safe? certainly it's safe.
yeah. if they are cooked fully. meaning brown and a bit harder then b4
