Why would you have to? It's self priming. If you have an oil pump that isn't working, it needs to be replaced, not primed.How do i prime the oil pump on a 97 kia without taking the oil pan?
Pull the spark plugs, crank the motor over until the oil light goes out.Will work just fine this way.
