1999 vw beetle - does the oil pan have a sensor?

I need to buy an oil pan, but don't know if I need to buy one with a sensor hole or not. Does anyone know if this year and model has this, or what to look for to find out on the vehicle?

if you look at the oil pan under the car ..it's located right across from the drain plug , it's black ,flat ,and plastic .


i'm assuming you 99 beetle have 2.0 liter . most likely it does not have a sensor1999 vw beetle - does the oil pan have a sensor?
easier to tell if you have an 'oil low' light on the dasboard, you don't even have to get under the car for that
