Can I preheat my nonstick pan without oil or anything in it for one minute? Maybe medium heat or medium low heat, less than a minute, or maybe just 30 seconds?
I was told that you should never heat any pan without nothing in it, or it will damage your pan. Is it true? Or if it's done at low heat and less than a minute is OK?
I use T-Fal. Can I do that to a T-Fal pan?Can I preheat my nonstick pan without oil or anything in it for one minute?
as pans go, scanpan's are the best!
This questions was on mythbusters once. They found it was impossible to head the nonsitck surface on the inside of the pan to a toxic level!
So heating your non-stick pan without anything in it is fine. However if you are worried, just put a little oil in it. That what I do at work.Can I preheat my nonstick pan without oil or anything in it for one minute?
I have a couple of T-Fal pans. You can pre heat them empty. I don't know about what you heard... I always pre heat my cast iron pans as well. I remember once hearing '; a hot pan and cold oil and nothing sticks';
