My dad was going to change the oil but he can't find the oil pan plug to drain the oil. Can any of you car experts help me out?2002 Dodge Neon, can't find the oil pan plug?
Its the big pan in the center and there is a bolt in the center in the pan dont worry about getting the wrong one because very few cars these days have a transmission drain plug there are a couple but a dodge neon aint one of them2002 Dodge Neon, can't find the oil pan plug?
The following link has a picture of a Dodge Neon oil pan. The big empty hole in the picture is likely where the drain plug is located.
make sure you take the oil plug out and not the transmission.
the drain plug is on the oil pan right around the edge. Careful cause i think its aluminum. AND dont overtighten it when you put it back.
